Dinner 4 Eight

What a wonderful gathering we had at our pot-luck, kick-off dinner! Although we didn’t ask, we are very grateful to the volunteers who pitched in and stayed to help clean up. We hope everyone had a great time and had a chance to mingle outside their mix group. A few notices:

Please remember our clergy, Chris, Charles, John, Penny and Daniel when planning your next get-together. If you have room to accommodate, consider extending an invitation to them. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get to know our staff if you don’t get a chance otherwise.

The Dinner 4 Eight section under Member's Only on the Bruton Parish website has been updated and provides a link to the names and contact information for the nine different groups or “mixes” organized for the 2011-2012 Dinner 4 Eight gatherings. Although we tried to update all this information at the Pot-luck dinner, some people could not attend, so we know there might be errors or omissions.  Look for your information and advise the Dinner 4 Eight Committee of any changes.  Please note, for everyone’s protection, this list is in a protected “members only” area, so you will need your regular Bruton Parish website username and password to access it. Please contact Hilary Cooley, Communications Director (757-345-2252 or email) if you don’t know your username and password.

Our next large-group gathering will be held in January, the Epiphany Party. We don’t have an exact date yet, but stay tuned! We hope you enjoy your gatherings. We already have a few names for additional mixes we might assemble in January, so talk it up! From the conversations we heard, things are going smoothly and a great plans are in the works to make this, once more, a successful season!
