Dr. JanEl B. Will, Director of Music & Organist
Dr. JanEl B. Will, Organist at historic Bruton Parish Episcopal Church in Colonial Williamsburg, has served the parish since 1995. Her responsibilities include playing services, Candlelight Concerts, Evensongs, Rockefeller Concerts and accompanying both the Pelham and Chancel Choir.
Dr. Will received the degree Doctorate of Musical Arts in Organ Performance from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor under the tutelage of Dr. James Kibbie. Her degree Master of Music in Organ and Harpsichord Performance is from the University of South Dakota, her home state.
She has performed for conventions of the American Guild of Organists and the Organ Historical Society as well as at historic Methuen Hall in Boston, Massachusetts. She has served as recitalist in France and England including St. Mary’s Church in Somerset, the home of Bruton’s founders. She has also concertized throughout the Midwest and East Coast and is a regular recitalist at Bruton Parish as both organist and harpsichordist.
