Walking through history into the future with Christ
We welcome all into a
Christ-centered community that nurtures and values each member.
We practice our faith through biblically-based liturgy, preaching and music.
We teach young and old about God through our Anglican tradition.
We reach out through our talents and resources to our visitors, our community and our world.
United Thank Offering this Lent & Easter
Join in the practice of offering thanks for your many blessing by participating in Bruton's United Thank Offering.  Each week Bruton's Youth & Young Adults will offer a prayer in response to "Becoming the Beloved Community". Look for their prayers in the weekly Bruton Bytes and Sunday bulletins during Bruton's 2019 UTO Giving Period (March 3 through April 28).
On March 3 & 17, UTO Volunteers will be sporting our NEW signature Blue Baskets filled with those recognizable Blue UTO Boxes & Envelopes. These Blue Baskets have been made by the women of Dos Santos (Two Saints), a Diocese of Southern Virginia Latino Ministry supporting immigrant families in St. George's Parish on the Eastern Shore.  Many of you may remember Angelica Garcia-Randle, Diocesan Missioner for Latino Ministries for the Eastern Shore, from Bruton's 2018 ECW Women to Women Fall Coffee & Outreach Fair.
Dos Santos' Outreach serves a sizable migrant farm worker community providing a Food Pantry, an organic community garden and tutoring for children of these families.  This is the only pantry for the Spanish population in the region.
UTO Blue Boxes & Envelopes will be available in the parish hall during services and in the Parish House reception area throughout the Giving Period from March 3 through April 28 (and in the church tower when services resume in the church). You can also contribute by downloading the free UTO Blue Box app and donate to UTOBLUEBOXAPP.ORG.
Please think of giving to the 2019 United Thank Offering.  Even the smallest donations, when added together, can make a huge difference in the lives of others.
