Walking through history into the future with Christ
We welcome all into a
Christ-centered community that nurtures and values each member.
We practice our faith through biblically-based liturgy, preaching and music.
We teach young and old about God through our Anglican tradition.
We reach out through our talents and resources to our visitors, our community and our world.
Newcomers' Corner

The Newcomers Committee members serve to welcome new parishioners into our parish life.  Newcomers and visitors are asked to take a moment to complete the card in the blue folder at the end of the pew, and then drop it into the offertory plate or hand it to an usher.  Some newcomers prefer to complete the Newcomers and Visitors Form on the Bruton Parish website.  Once the Newcomer Committee Chairman receives this information, a member of the committee is assigned to serve as a mentor.

Newcomers’ Corner is typically held on the first Sunday each month in the Custis House at 10:30am.  However, please join us this month on Sunday, December 1. This is an opportunity to meet and mingle with clergy, vestry members and Newcomers Committee members.  It is also a wonderful time to learn more about the many ministries at Bruton.

From time-to-time, the Newcomers Committee host welcome receptions in the Parish Hall.  This is another great time to gather with clergy, vestry members and committee members. Additionally, a tour of the Parish Hall and Shop is provided prior to the reception.
