CHANCO Open House

This residential camp for boys and girls ages 8 to 16 years is a place for having fun, making friends, trying new things, and enjoying God’s creation. Join us at Chanco on March 21 or April 26  from 1-5pm for an Open House. Come see what all the fuss is about! Their open house is a perfect way to see if summer camp at Chanco is a fit for your child! Meet some counselors, tour their beautiful grounds, munch on some free hot dogs, and test your fear of heights on their superman swing!
Each morning of a camp session will feature three great camp activities and afternoons will include another activity block as well as free time for swimming. After dinner, campers will enjoy playing games and socializing outdoors during canteen time. Christian community will be a large part of the day as your camper spends the majority of his/her time making friends and enjoying new experiences with his/her campsite.
There will be various Evening Programs to allow the entire camp to gather together in fun. Once these are finished, all circle up to sing the Chanco song and share in a devotional before heading back to the campsite to rest up for another fun day.
Campers enjoy a range of outdoor activities, camp skits, songs, and rich tradi-tions. Their residential camp program includes: Climbing Wall, High Ropes, Zip Lines, Low Ropes, Swimming Pool, Boating, Sailing, Paddleboarding, Arts and Crafts, Archery, Basketball, Gaga, and other Games, Nature Classes, and Evening Programs. Many youth report discovering God in a different way in a relaxed, natural environment.
Campers are helped to become self-reliant, tolerant, helpful, and kind. These values, as learned in the Chanco experience, are then to be carried home and to the world at large.
