COFM Winter Shelter - February 4-11, 2018

Ready for Volunteers to be the Hands and Feet of Christ
Our hosting of the COFM Winter Shelter week at Bruton Parish is upon us, February 4-11.  This is a great ministry opportunity! Thank you to the many parishioners who have already signed up for the various roles to serve our guests. We still have some slots that need to be filled. So if you haven't already signed up, please do so today by clicking here. Some may want to consider signing for an additional time!
It's also not too late to make a donation to the program. Monetary contributions continue to be accepted for bus tickets, laundry cards, hats, gloves, and scarves our guests need, as well as for other operating expenses associated with hosting our 25-30 guests for the week. Please visit us on our website at www.brutonparish.org or visit www.bit.ly/GIVE2BPC to make a donation online. You may also place your check in the offering plate at church or send it to the Parish House with "COFM" written in the memo line.
Do you have a Four Wheeler?  Here's another volunteer opportunity. If there's snow during our Shelter Week, could you help with your four-wheel drive vehicle or could you work with our guests at the Parish Hall after 7am in the morning? If so, please contact Dick Estes at 757-253-1682. Thank you!
All of these actions help to convey God's grace and love by providing physical warmth and nourishment to those dealing with fear, uncertainty, and homelessness.
