Women's Theological Book Group

The Women's Theological Book Group is open to all women and discuss works of fiction and non-fiction through a theological lens. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, September 14, from 1-2:30pm in Room 206 of the Parish House. We will be discussing A Year of Biblical Womanhood: How a Liberated Woman Found Herself Sitting on Her Roof, Covering Her Head, and Calling Her Husband 'Master' by Rachel Held Evans. This book chronicles Evans' year-long attempt to live as literally as possible by the Bible's instructions for women.  Join us for what is sure to be a lively discussion of women of valor both in and out of the Bible!  Child care is available by reservation by contacting Meghan Brewer at childcare@brutonparish.org or 757-229-2891.
