Women's Theological Book Group

This book group is open to all women and discusses works of fiction and non-fiction through a theological lens. Our next meeting will be from 1-2:30pm on Thursday, October 26, in Room 206 of the Parish House.  We will be discussing An Altar in the World: A Geography of Faith by Barbara Brown Taylor.  In this book, Taylor explores spiritual practices that help us to slow down and pay attention so that we encounter God everywhere we go.  From the introduction, "I have no idea what you will see when you look at your life - but if you are tired of arguing about religion, tired of reading about spirituality, tired of talk-talk-talking about things that matter without doing a single thing that matters yourself, then the pages that follow are dedicated to you.  My hope is that reading them will help you recognize … some of the altars in the world."

Upcoming Dates and Books:
