Summer Food Drive for FISH
From Sunday, May 19, to Friday, June 7, Bruton will collect non-perishable food supplies to help fill the FISH cupboards for the summer.  Pick up your empty bags at church on Sundays (May 19, 26 and June 2) or during the week in the Parish House. Children and teens who receive one or two meals at school each day will be home from school, placing additional pressures on already stretched food budgets.  Foods needed include: oatmeal, cereals; canned fruits, soups, vegetables, canned and dried beans, including baked beans; rice, dried pasta, canned pasta sauce; boxed macaroni and cheese, canned meats including Spam, chicken and fish including tuna fish; Saltine crackers, peanut butter, jelly; fruit juices.
Please fill your grocery bags and deliver your donations to the Lewis Hall lobby at the Parish House by Friday, June 7. Please do not overfill your bag - we ask that you use multiple bags and double - bag your items to prevent the bags from breaking.
Volunteers will be needed on the morning of Saturday, June 8, at 8:30am at the Parish House to help load and deliver the bags to FISH and to help stock the pantry shelves.  All ages are welcome and encouraged to participate! Please email Lynn Smyth at FISH@brutonparish.org to volunteer. More info is online at williamsburgfish.weebly.com.
