Children & Youth Choirs Resume

Our children’s and youth choirs — Cantores, Choristers, and Joyful Noise — will resume rehearsals on Sunday, September 10!
Directed by Genrose Lashinger (757-221-0370 or joyfulnoise@brutonparish.org), children ages 4 through kindergarten are invited to join the Joyful Noise Choir which rehearses Sunday mornings (tba). The choir usually sings once a month from September through May for the Sunday 9:15am service of Holy Eucharist.
Directed also by Genrose, youth in grades 1 to 3 are invited to join the Choristers (choristers@brutonparish.org) for rehearsal each Sunday during the school year in the choir room of the Parish House. They also sing once or twice a month from September through May for the 9:15am service of Holy Eucharist.
Directed by Ann Porter (757-564-7875 or cantores@brutonparish.org), youth in grades 4 through high school are invited to join the Cantores. They rehearse each Sunday during the school year in the choir room of the Parish House, sing once or twice a month from September through May for the 9:15am service of Holy Eucharist, and also periodically sing Choral Evensong.
If your child or youth would like to begin singing in the choirs this year, please contact the appropriate director above for more information or come to the first rehearsal!
