Co-Ed Evening Book Group

After a summer break, the Bruton Evening Book Group's first fall meeting will be held at 7pm on Monday, September 25. New members are welcome. Our selection for September is Ashley's War by Gayle Lemmon. It is the story of a ground-breaking team of female American warriors who served alongside Special Operations soldiers on the battlefield in Afghanistan.  In October, we’ll meet on Monday, October 23, at 7pm to discuss Wine and War: the French, the Nazis and the Battle for France's Greatest Treasure by Don Kladstrup.
This co-ed book group meets monthly from September through May, and the reading list includes a variety of genre. The group meets on Monday evenings, usually the fourth evening of the month. If you are interested in joining the group, or just want to try it for a month, please contact Susie Morrison directly by email at PMBOOKGROUP@brutonparish.org or call 757-846-6863.
