Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for FISH
We are nearing the time for our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for FISH.  As in previous years, we will be distributing shopping bags with lists of non-perishable items needed by FISH for their Food Pantry.

Our efforts during the summer food drive were remarkable!  We delivered over 100 bags of food to FISH. In addition to the outpouring of support from our parish in terms of food collected, we were hugely successful in our volunteer effort to load, transport, unload and organize the donated items we delivered to FISH.  The summer food drive was made even more meaningful and joyful as our volunteers included parents who brought their children to be a part of this ministry.

The Thanksgiving Food Drive bags will be available on all Sundays in November at the church beginning on November 3.  Bags will also be available in the Parish House during the week in November. A list of items needed by FISH can be found on our website, too.  Bags of non-perishable groceries for FISH can be dropped off at the Parish House or brought to the Thanksgiving Eve Service at 6pm on Wednesday, November 27.

We will need people to help us load up the bags at 8:30am on Friday, November 29, at the Parish House and to take the food to FISH.  We will help them sort the food once we have brought the bags into their office. If you can help with delivering the food, please contact Lynn Smyth at Thanksgiving4FISH@brutonparish.org. We hope that some of the youth in the parish along with their parents as well as others can help with this endeavor.
We thank you in advance for your ongoing generosity to this important community ministry.
