No children’s or youth programming this Sunday because we are holding a weekend-long Godly Play Training in the Parish House (many of our Sunday School teachers will be attending). Children's & Youth Choirs will rehearse immediately following the 9:15am service.

Friday, January 18
Youth and parents will be volunteering during the COFM Winter Shelter and providing our guests dinner that evening. Contact Meghan Brewer if you will be available to help out!

Friday - Sunday, January 25-27, 2019: Ski Trip to Snowshoe
Sign-up has been extended for our 2019 Ski Trip to Snowshoe for January 25-27! All middle and high school students, and their friends, are invited for a fun ski weekend at Snowshoe, WV.  We will leave on Friday, January 25, ski on Saturday, January 26, and then go ice tubing on Sunday, January 27, before heading home. July 6-17, 2019
Mission and Pilgrimage to Navajo-land, New Mexico & Cataract Canyon, Utah

High School students are invited to help organize and attend a trip to work with a Navajo congregation, St. Michael's Episcopal Church, to host a Vacation Bible School from July 8-12, 2019. On July 12, we will travel to Moab, Utah for a wilderness pilgrimage of five days and four nights of rafting through the remote Cataract Canyon in Canyonlands National Park. We will learn about Navajo culture along the way and spend time with God, our creator. Bruton Parish's current high schoolers and their friends are invited, and they will be expected to gather for pre-trip meetings and to help with fund-raisers. The trip cost is $1,300/person with a $400 deposit due by April 1. If you turn in your deposit by March 1, then you’ll receive a $100 discount on the trip. Click here to sign up!

July 21-28, 2019
Mission Trip to the Appalachian South Folklife Center in Pipestem, West Virginia

Middle and high school students are invited to journey to the wild and wonderful mountains of West Virginia for a week of service work, prayer, cultural experiences, and time with God in creation. This trip will leave on Sunday, July 21, when we’ll spend a week working on local homes with the Folklife Center as our facilitators and home base. Students will be shaped by Morning and Evening Prayer, music, and group conversations, as well as the work completed each day.
    On Friday, July 26, we will head to the New River Gorge for two nights of fun and rest including an adventure lake and white-water rafting through the New River Gorge. This trip costs $450/person with a $200 deposit due by May 1. If you turn  in your deposit by March 1, you will receive a $50 discount on the trip.
    We are grateful for parishioner's support of our mission trips and pilgrimages. Stay tuned for fundraisers next year. Donations are welcome at any time to offset chaperone costs and youth scholarships. Write checks to Bruton Parish with "Youth Mission Trip Donation" in the memo and give to Fr. Josh Stephens.
