Heroin: The Hardest Hit

SpiritWorks Foundation will be hosting presentations of the new film, “Heroin: the Hardest Hit” in Yorktown in July and in Williamsburg in September. It is a powerful documentary on the heroin and abuse of prescription drug epidemic and it effects on Virginians.
The Office of Attorney General Mark Herring produced the film in 2016 and is making it available for public showings. William Shackleford, Community Outreach Coordinator for the Virginia Attorney General’s office, will introduce the film at both presentations. SpiritWorks’ Executive Director, the Rev’d Jan Brown, and Spiritual Director, the Rev’d Lauren McDonald, will also be available to answer questions and provide additional information.
The Yorktown presentation will be on Thursday, July 27, beginning at 6:30 pm in the Yorktown Library located at 8500 George Washington Memorial Highway in Yorktown. The Williamsburg presentation will be on Thursday, September 28, beginning at 6:30pm in the Williamsburg Regional Library located at 515 Scotland Street in Williamsburg.
