Walking through history into the future with Christ
We welcome all into a
Christ-centered community that nurtures and values each member.
We practice our faith through biblically-based liturgy, preaching and music.
We teach young and old about God through our Anglican tradition.
We reach out through our talents and resources to our visitors, our community and our world.
Creating Safe Churches

Safe Church Training will be offered at Bruton Parish on Saturday, February 24. Child training is 8:45am - 12pm, and Adult training is 12:30 - 3pm. Each training costs $5. Lunch will be provided for those taking both trainings.
God embraces children with love, placing their nurture and care in our hands. We believe that children should be safe from all forms of abuse and neglect.  We, the Church, are advocates for children and have established clearly defined safeguards, policies and procedures for their protection. Safe Church training provides us with the education and information we need to keep our church safe for all who attend.  Safe Church training is required for all who regularly work around children or youth, for Vestry members, and for those who make visits to people in their homes.
Please register by February 20 for the training by visiting http://www.diosova.org/safe_church or contact the Rev’d Lauren McDonald at lmcdonald@brutonparish.org or 757-229-2891.
