Memorial Day Wreath Laying Ceremony
Bruton Parish will participate in the Colonial Williamsburg Memorial Day Commemorative Program on Monday, May 27.  The Fife & Drums will lead the procession to sites where veterans of the Revolutionary and Civil War are interred, starting at the Governor's Palace at 10am, then on to Bruton, and from our church to the south lawn of the Capitol.
The remembrance will offer prayers, laying of wreaths, and musket volleys to pay tribute to their sacrifice.  At Bruton, one of our own veterans will offer remarks and a prayer as the wreath is laid at the Palace Green gate, and the Tarpley Bell is tolled.  It's a lovely and moving ceremony.  Join us.
