Gala Organ Concerts this Fall

After a nearly 12-year process, we are now days away from the gala inaugural concerts on Bruton 's beautiful new organ. Gordon Stewart arrived safely from England and has been becoming acquainted with the instrument, passing on high compliments all around for Dobson's magnificent work.
If you have reserved your passes for the concert, please remember to pick them up from the church office by 5pm on Friday, September 6.  If you are not able to do so, the passes will be available as will call at the church before the performances. If you reserved passes but will not be able to attend after all, please contact Hilary Cooley to release your passes for others.
Finally, a reminder to arrive well ahead of the program start time. The church will open 45 minutes ahead of each performance, and the passes will no longer be valid at 15 minutes before the program, when we'll begin seating anyone in line without passes.
A thanksgiving offering will be received following the concerts. Proceeds will be given to Spiritworks Foundation, which ministers to those in our community who are on a journey from addiction to recovery, and to FISH, a local, all-volunteer organization that provides food, clothing and household items to those in need in the Williamsburg area.
Receptions in the Parish Hall will follow both performances, so you'll have an opportunity to greet the performer and enjoy fellowship with others.
