Bruton Gift Shop Jumble Sale

September is here and your gift shop is full of lovely new fall items! We have beautiful fall wreaths, gloves, handbags, wraps and accessories to tempt you.
We will also be showing a new design of the Episcopal shield featured in our needlepoint belts from Haiti. These are all hand-made by women who support education for children, build schools, and provide scholarships to  college. These will be a special order item, and would make a perfect Christmas gift. Four to five weeks will be needed for this special order item, so be sure and plan ahead.
Christmas merchandise and cards will be on display by the last week of September. This is always such an exciting time for all of us and you will want to shop early for the best selection.
Be sure to include our upcoming Jumble Sale on your calendars and agendas. The dates for this sale will be Saturday, October 12 (10am-5pm), Sunday, October 13 (12pm-5pm) and Monday, October 14 (10am-1pm), and will be held in the Parish Hall.  This will be a church-wide effort to support mission and outreach, and we hope you will help us by volunteering, donating, and shopping!  Please contact Joan Gorczyk at (757) 259-2022 or Carolyn Hoffman at (757) 208-2022 for information about our exciting new event, and to let them know when you might be available to assist them.  You can also sign up to volunteer at your gift shop.
If you have found items to donate to the sale, you can bring them to the Parish Hall from 11am to 1pm on September 11, 12, 18, 24 & 27 and on October 2 & 4.

As a reminder, we can accept: toys, jewelry, paintings (prints and frames), furniture (no larger than will fit in a van), boutique (collectibles) art and antiques, primitives, housewares, and small appliances in working condition. We cannot accept: books, records, games, clothing, TVs, pots, stuffed animals, upholstered furniture (the only exception is a side chair with upholstered seat).
We hope that you will join us in making this new event a great success and we want to thank everyone  for their support!
