Walking through history into the future with Christ
We welcome all into a
Christ-centered community that nurtures and values each member.
We practice our faith through biblically-based liturgy, preaching and music.
We teach young and old about God through our Anglican tradition.
We reach out through our talents and resources to our visitors, our community and our world.
Fall Christian Formation: Repairing the Breach
Repairing the Breach: Race, Culture, and Class through a Christian Lens
Join Deacon Jan and the Bruton Parish clergy for an in-depth and challenging film-based series on the historical context of some of the most difficult issues facing our church and society today. On Wednesday nights from 6-7:30 p.m. we will meet via Zoom to explore our Christian values and how they form us and enkindle in us a call to be Christ’s hands, feet, and heart in our broken world.
November 11 – Race
November 18 – Class
December 2 – Culture
December 9 – The Episcopal Church’s response
For those who complete the whole series, there will be a culminating experience.
You will then receive instructions on how to take part in these important conversations.
For questions, please contact The Rev'd Lauren McDonald.
