Become A Guide or Guide Greeter

We welcome your participation in this special ministry. The Church is staffed by guides and guide greeters Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. in 2 hour shifts.

Both guides and guide greeters must enjoy interacting with the public.

Guides have a unique opportunity to share our history and faith with those who visit the church and receive extensive training in preparation for their service. Depending upon the number of visitors, they may give small or large group presentations or interact with visitors one-on-one by answering questions. Guides are usually stationed in the church but may also be stationed in the tower, churchyard or Duke of Gloucester St. gate depending on the circumstances.

  • Participate in core training classes and continuing education
  • Mentor with an experienced guide
  • Work a minimum of two shifts per month
