The mission of the Pastoral Care Committee is to coordinate the efforts of the parish ministries which provide support primarily within the Bruton community. Our pastoral work includes:
- visiting the homebound in private homes and retirement and nursing homes
- preparing casseroles for those in need of food
- sending notes to the homebound, ill or distressed
- creating and providing prayer shawls for those in spiritual, physical or emotional distress
- providing baby blankets for new arrivals
- holding a monthly tea (October - May) for residents at the Chambrel assisted living facilities
