All women of Bruton Parish are members of the Goodwin-Bentley Episcopal Church Women. Fellowship is enjoyed at periodic meetings throughout the year. The ECW coordinates the United Thank Offering and offers other opportunities for service.

We want to invite all of you to join us this year for four exciting programs. Please save the dates and bring a friend for each event. With the Bruton 300th celebration in mind, join us for:

  • The Fall Coffee on Thursday, September 25, at 10:00 a.m. in the Parish House. Marty Easton and Margaret Driscoll will speak about Plans for the 300th. Join us for fellowship, information and support! (Event Chair: Leslie Skinner)

  • The Traditional Christmas Tea will be held on Wednesday, December 3, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Parish House. The beloved tradition continues with a few new features. A sparkling gathering of young and old, adult and child, family and friends. Enjoy festive food, seasonal music and help us celebrate and prepare for the blessed season. (Event Chair: Mary Jean Hurst)

  • The Silent Soup Lenten Luncheon will be held in March 2015 (date to be announced) and is a favorite occasion every year where those present share a simple lunch, fellowship and a spiritual message as we prepare for Lent. (Event Chair: Margaret Driscoll)

  • The Potluck Salad Supper & Ice Cream Social will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. in the Parish House. We gather to enjoy a festive evening (spouses are included) after wrapping up a brief end of year business meeting. (Event Chair: Carol Randle)

Nursery will be offered for each meeting. We will also be involved in other activities, projects, outreach and service community events throughout the year. We look forward to growing and learning with all of you. Come be a part of ECW and bring a friend!
