Formation for Children through 5th Grade

Children’s Church is held each Sunday at 9:15am via our YouTube Channel (it is a pre-recorded message from Meghan Brewer, Coordinator of Children's & Youth Ministry, to our children who regularly attend Children's Church in St. Mary's Chapel during normal times).

Sunday School will resume in the fall.  Please contact Meghan Brewer for the zoom link.

Kids Summer Meals Program
Far too many school-aged children in our community rely on meals served at school during the academic year. During the summer, the Kids Summer Meals Program (developed & managed by Williamsburg area Meals on Wheels) ensures that 225 kids get lunches every day for 10 weeks of summer break. As we did last year, Bruton has partnered with Williamsburg Meals On Wheels (WMOW) to help feed these children. Can you help assemble the meals on a Thursday morning this summer? If so, sign up at bit.ly/3ysgxS6. Would you be willing to bake three dozen cookies or brownies (no nuts), individually wrap them, and drop them off to Common Ground at SpiritWorks on a Wednesday -- see address, details and sign up at bit.ly/3jNSDwg. Our new Food Ministry is amazing! Thanks to each and every one of you.

Local Youth Mission Work Summer 2021
Throughout the summer on Thursday mornings from 8-10am (as long as outdoor services continue), we are in need of help in the churchyard from our children, youth and families. Each week we are asking for a small group of 2-4 people to come and help move chairs so that the churchyard can be maintained, and then help move the chairs back in place. Our older parishioners have been doing this for over a year, and we now need help from some strong, younger families. Please contact Meghan Brewer to let her know when you can help out.

The Annual Book Sale returns ?this Labor Day Weekend!
After a year away, we are excited to announce that we are collecting donations to support the sale, which will again benefit the Youth Mission & Pilgrimage Fund. We are accepting books, CDs, DVDs, and puzzles (please, no encyclopedias, VCR tapes, or cassette tapes). Please email Meghan Brewer to arrange a time to bring your donations to the Parish House between 8:00 and 4:00, Monday-Friday. This fundraiser for Youth Mission and Pilgrimage takes many hands to be a success. If you're willing to volunteer (safety measures in place) or have other questions, please email Meghan.
